    I'm looking to confirm that GM part #3986344 is the correct number for the ignition shield for a '74, 454. Thanks.

      GM #3986344 is the correct one for the 1974 application, big block and small block.

          I appreciate the confirmation on the part #. I posted an earlier thread today related to Belts (GM part #'s), would you mind taking a look...your input would be appreciated.
