    C3(1972) Conltole arm bushings

1)I am rebiulding the front end and need to know if when I paint the controle arms, do I do this with the Bushings in or out?
2)Were can I find Zinc for the dust brake shields, Dull gold iridite fore front brake mounting brackets, Gray phosphate for shock washers and heat shields.
    3) What dose the S and the W in the TIM&JG mean?
    4) Any input would help.
    Thank you.

I would install the new bushings first, than paint the control arms. If you paint the arms first, overspray in the bushing seats will make the bushing installation difficult, and you will also avoid scratches to the fresh paint job when trying to install the new bushings.

As for the zinc on the backing plates, you will need to have them re-plated w/ zinc. This can only be done at a metal plating facility. It would probably be more cost effective to simply buy new backing plates.
