BBBC's Big Brake Backing Plate Covers-C1

I'm looking for info on Big Brake Backing Plate Covers. I have a 61 BB car and have the screened backing plates and elephant ears, but am missing the backing plate covers and attaching hardware. I've seen pictures in Dobbin's book about the early C'2's with sheet metal looking backing plate covers. Are the covers labeled GM? Dated or stamped with a part number? What kind of attaching hardware is correct? Anyone have a source for a good used set or immaculate repro's?

Ron, Like yourself I to am looking for covers. Check the arcives for other peoples resonces. As for the attatching bolts they employed the same recessed head bolt as you scoops. I have never actually had a cover in my hand so I don't know if the part number is embossed on the part. There has been some disscusion on reproducing this part but I have been to busy lately to persue the issue. If you like I'll keep you e-mail address for future consideration.
