67 Big Block hood

Were any Green 67 BB hoods ever painted with the black "stencil", or just white? I saw a 67 ^ owner "swears" it's original w/black???

The stripe would be Black if the interior were all black.....

In fact every color except black could have a black stripe if the interior were black. For Black cars with black interior the stripe is red. All of this info is in the NOLAN ADAMS BOOK page 438...

I see that, thanks. Strange enough it has the white/black interior combo. Thought it was only a white stripe.

I think if you will ask Noland about this, you will find that there is no evidence of a black stripe ever being used on a green car. This is one thing that was discussed during the writing of the book. Records indicated that black was to be used, but none have been substantiated.

I have an 18,000 mile original 400 horse green/black car. The stripe is white, if this helps at all.
