Just got back from the Los Angeles seized property auction held today (see link below). The 67 black convertible sold for $128K, the 68 convertible sold for $17,500, the 60 sold for $47K. The 60 had no vin tag and the wrong motor, and the 67 appeared to me to be a small block car. The 68 had the original motor, but had a 1 piece front end and an aftermarket L88 hood. Big crowd on hand, and it made for an interesting day, with more than a few raised eyebrows from the NCRS members in attendance.

Some people at auctions aren't really looking for bargains. Barrett/Jackson perfect example. I went to an auction recently and the winning bidder paid $250.00 more for a used four post lift then if he would have ordered it new. On top of that he had to disassmble and haul away. Go figure.
