    C3 PS question

    we have a 71 LS5 with power steering ,, for whatever reason when we turn the steering wheel "too" far (as making a sharp turn and driving very slow) the belt "squeals" and the motor dies ,,, is there an adjustment I need to make

      If you are going to lock either direction the pump is being asked to produce maximum pressure. A loose or worn belt could/would cause the squeal. You are better to not hold against lock.
