1957 passenger car pumpkin, cast November 14, 1956 and assembled November 19, 1956; no "B" ratio prefixes used for Corvettes.

Yes..I believe you are correct. This is a special rear end which is in my George Moore/Eb Rose 1954..that received a drivetrain transplant with the Eb Rose Fuel Injected Blackwidow EK motor, March 10th 1957 all cast iron T-10 and this BP1119 rearend. Eb as you Know was the B modified SCCA champ in 1957...and a contract driver for Ed Cole.

I suspect..after converstaion with Eb Rose..that parts shipped to SEDCO and Smokey's shop like rear ends, transmissions, fuel units etc..were used to sort both the existing Corvette race cars being prepared for Sebring and the full body Chevrolets being prepared for Nascar.

I have not been able to locate a listing for the BP code...to identify the gear size or application..and although owning the car for some time have not made an attempt to remove anything. The drivetrain is just as it was when transplanted in 1957.
