I've noticed some postings missing or unaccounted for. Where are they? I don't think they were deleted. Some were questions and some were some answers. I wouldn't have noticed if one or two hadn't been mine. Where'd they go? Also, how is Joe making a post dated Monday April 20, 1970 at 3:00 pm (67 window handles)? There was a whole thread of posts under that topic that aren't there anymore. The posting date and time on a few others are from the Twilight Zone also. What's going on? TBarr #24014

Re: What's going on?!
Don't you guys ever sleep?????? Your posting messages at 3:30 in the morning. No wonder it looks like messages are disappearing. Take two asperin, go get some sleep and everything will be better in the morning.

Re: What's going on?!
Well Joe, it's either Y2K, or our board has gone through a Cosmic hic-up and we now have postings floating all over cyberspace. Maybe someone has figured out some passwords to delete. Guess I'll have to change my Afgahnistanbanannastand (that's not an original I got that from a movie). I couldn't spell it half the time anyway. TBarr- Top

Re: Ain't no dream.....
...I'm sure it's happening.
Richard,
My wife thinks my late nights are ridiculous too. I did dream once that I was posting a message on the NDB though. That should have been a clue, but why dream when I can stay up anyway for the real thing. TBarr #24014- Top

Re: What's going on?!
I've noticed the missing posts too, but only when I submit a reply and use the link to go back to the message list. If I hit the refresh button they magically reappear in the thread list. Still some of the messages which show up in the thread come up with an unavailable message error.. something like that, I forget the exact wording.
I thought that either folks were deleting their off-topic posts after y'all picked Poor Sir Galahad (George Daina) into silence, or else I thought it was a cookie problem. I'm using IE5. BTW, I haven't noticed any of my posts disappearing other than the one duplicate post I accidentally made and then intentionally deleted. ~Juliet2019 Sebring Orange 8-Spd Coupe (daily driver & autocross) 6k mi.

Re: What's going on?!
Bob,
You are slightly behind in the news. I set up the Hong Kong Chapter a few years ago, along with the Beijing(PRC)Chapter, the Taiwan Chapter, the Bangkok (my favorite) Chapter, and many others. Next week I'll be arriving in the Singapore Chapter and then on to the Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) Chapter.
Home is where you hang your hat, and my black MJ hat has "Hong Kong Chapter" on it.
See you in Dallas when I get back sometime in March.
