    427/425 restored original fuel pump ?

    DCParts - on ebay is offering quote "Restoration fuel pumps with the genuine AC logo!!!! This one is Delco #40366 to fit Late 1965 396, and 1966 Big Block 427 Engines. These pumps feature original AC logo housings which are rebuilt using correct style fittings on a new crimped canister which is plated in stunning gold Iridate as it originally was."

    Has anyone had experience with a "crimped" rebuild unit and do you think these are original cores that are rebuilt ?

      buy paragon's re-issued 425 pump. its close but not identical to the originals and most judges won't appreciate the differneces. suspect the ebay puppy came from paragon. mike
