What head markings are on the 67 37amp alternator case bolts (4ea)?

There were multiple suppliers, so there's no 'correct' answer in general. One head mark that's commonly seen generally looks like an 'X'... -

Thanks for the input. I have 4 different ones.. non of which are an "X". A junk yard run for 4 of the same type is in order.....Comment

Steve - While the "X" headmarking was used, there are a number of others including "C", "R", small "s" in a circle, and a small "R" in a circle to name a few. The 750 alternator on my '67 does have all "C's; but not all of the alternators I checked has 4 letter matching headmarking on the screws. The "R'" seemed to be another popular headmarking. For some reason I don't think having all the headmarking match was one of the performance objectives at the Delco-Remy alternator production/assembly facility. Good luck on your junk yarding. Actually I have an Alternator rebuild facility near me that has literally thousands of junk cores that are sorted by year and manu in 55 gal drums...
It shouldn't take long to find 4 bolts of the same type.....Comment
