      What's the scam?

Appears to be... but being ever the inquisitor have sent off an email to "anna" requesting info - Where is the car for viewing? Why so low priced? Will fly in, view, pay and ship home.
Have seen these several times before but first time i have seen a car apparently in the U.S.
I don't really expect an answer (not holding my breath... only wallet!) but will advise if one does appear. If legit will buy car per above.

I emailed one of these guys too. I got to thinking later they might be fishing for email addresses and Corvette owners to steal there ID. Just a thought.

Acually, there are about twenty of these, they are all "priced low" Owned by by father in Italy... the buyer asks for you to email them to qualify, once someone email's the item disapears, EBay is all over this and trying to stop the SCAM.

                What's the scam,ebay ???

So now they have an unused email address on another server. Fail to see what they can scam, or if this is a method of collecting email addresses they certainly are using the long hand method. ....Still haven't had a reply from them :-(

                  Change your password

Previously, they were using a flaw in the private bidder verification system on eBay to trick you into giving them your userid and password. Then they had YOUR account to run the next scam.

If you went through the verified bidder system, change your password NOW.

Don't email these guys in the future, you know it is a scam.

                    What's the scam,ebay ???

Thanks I wndered what they were up to ... makes sense. However they will have troubloe scamming off the email address .. I didn't use the eBay route as they had a private email on the page .. sent it there and it's just an extra on another server I have sitting around .. totally useless except for these type of things
But thanks for the heads up

If it sounds to good ...

Well I received an email from our "friends" . Yes, the car is in Italy, belonged to deceased Grandfather. Mint condition... send money etc. Ebay has all the goods including the non Ebay emails. Pity, I could use a third Corvette...
