Can anyone tell me the brand and part number ujoint that most restorers use to match the OEM ujoint for judging. Thanks in advance, Tim Barbieri

Re: ujoints
Tim,
When I replaced the u-joints in my '67 during my restoration, I ordered the ones from Long Island. They would not fit in the half shafts. but did fit the drive shaft, the body of them was too large and couldn't be installed.(I had a company that does nothing but work on drivetrain components try to install them). The half shafts and flanges were stock. I found another brand that did fit, I'll check for the name and email you if you're interested. As far as the original look, other than not having the grease fittings, I'm not sure what else is looked at during judging. The body of the ones I ending up installing in the half shafts were black.- Top
