Need to haggle the price

Pro Team regularly raises their prices with the market and the market is going up ever since the BJ auction.It's likely they raised the prices on about 100 other cars as well. Tell them you were considering it at the old price and they may come down. When I bought my 1970, they dropped the price and paid for the shipping as well.

I personally found it a great convenience to only travel to one place and see so many decent cars all at once. I also brought my NCRS pocket guide and checked the car over from top to bottom before I bought it so I was sure of what I was buying. I have been happy with that car ever since.

What if you wanted a car through a magazine such as Hemmings? How many weekend trips are you willing to make before you buy the "dream" car? My brother and I looked at about a dozen cars when he bought his 1969 20 years ago. How much do you value your time?

I understand and agree with you, and am no longer looking for a car. I found one up the coast in Seattle and I couldn't be happier with it. It's just turns me off when the price is raised at what seems like the same time you inquire about the car. Like I said, the same thing happened to a friend of mine and it wasn't around the auction date. It's much more comfortable negotiating a price when the asking price is already within reason, and not raised at the same time you're gathering information about the car. Glad you're happy with your car as well.
