I was contacted by a friend who wants me to go with him to the sale/swap meet in Knoxville April 01 & 02. I've seen the website, but is this a worthwhile event(s) from the perspective of previous attendees? Thanks.

I usually attend both shows each year, and have for several years. Good selection of new and used parts, Corvettes for sale/auction/display, and a few muscle cars and motorcycles for sale. In fact, I just got finished cleaning up a set of '66 seatbelts in excellent condition (with the original plastic pockets and retractors) that I picked up in Knoxville a couple of years ago.
If you're looking for new parts and don't see them at the show, you can stop by Volunteer Vettes (on Friday - closed most Saturdays) and they'll pull them from their well-stocked warehouse.

If you live within reasonable driving distance, it's usually a worthwhile show. It's been going on, twice a year, since the mid 70's. I'll be there. I try to make at least one per year. Nothing else within a day's drive of me.Comment
