67 Carpet retaining clips

I'm about to install new carpet retaining clips on the 67 along the door sills. From the AMM it appears that there should be 3 clips per side, is that correct? Would it be better to have a few more installed or not?

Scott, I think those clips are for the two metal channels that change the 90 degree transition to two 45s. The one on the drivers side is for the rear wiring harness. The carpet is glued to floor then this this and then trapped by the door sill plate so you could probably get away with no clips. Sounds like your making good progress.
