'66 SMALL BLOCK POWER STEERING INSTALLATION

The assembly manual illustration appears to show that the upper, left motor mount to block bolt holds the bracket on that has the long slot for adjusting the belt tension on the pump pulley. I wanted to be sure, since the diagram is not too clear. Also, is the belt guard installed on the pump for all small blocks, or just those with p.s. and air?

    Rob -

The bracket attachment under the motormount bolt is correct, and the belt guard was only used on cars with C60.
