I am rebuilding a leaking control valve on my 66. It is the second rebuilt that I bought for my car. Neither lasted two years without leaking, so I'm going to reseal this one myself. The outer casting (with all the hose connection ports) has a 1 inch I.D. Oring in the mating surface that does not appear in the parts list. I would like a GM replacement for the Oring. Does anyone know the part number? Is it possible that this valve is from a ChevyII or some later year that used an additional Oring?

Dave, I can't help because my 63 doesn't have PS. but The C1 = 53-62, C2 = 63-67, C3 = 68 to 82. This may help so others who might skip the post thinking you have a Shark. -

Sorry I don`t have access to my parts book, but that O ring is on all units. It is not, however, the cause of the leaks so you can reuse it. It doesn`t come with the kit for some reason.Comment

Part numbers
My parts list shows a few part numbers. Under the 6.609 (Hydraulic Pump group)it shows 63-74 PN 5688044 seal, 63-74 PN 5688034 seal (251/64" O.D.) It also lists seals for the drive shaft. 63-66 PN 5688020 EricComment
