What is a radio supression unit? Maybe it is too late at night, but that doesn't ring any bells.

No need to go through that trouble and risk; I've seen one now. I might very well be at the Boston National, though.

        Joe:

If you will be attending the Western Consortium regional next month, I will bring my original window sticker from my LS-6. It shows some traces of glue, I think on the backside, but very little, the window sticker is in pretty nice shape for 34 years old this April 26th.

Radio supression unit is the shielding that is normaly installed when a radio is factory installed in the car. Some of the guys had us install radios so we ordered the Radio supression unit. When the car got back to Nebraska, we would install what ever radio the guys wanted without having to order every piece and part to shield the ignition. GL

Jerry Stark of Austin, TX still has the original, never attached window sticker for his 1970 LT1. It still has the bottom portion attached and it is a beautiful piece of documentation. This car has been seen along with the window sticker at many NCRS events, he bought it new still owns it. He asked the dealer to leave it off the car.
I've had cars with the ID number completly typed out, anyone know the reason for this?

              Tim -

At least through the late 60's, the VIN (at least the last six digits - the first seven were generic) was added manually to the car's paperwork, along with the engine/trans/diff/carb/key numbers in the Broadcast Booth at the end of the Final Line, as the paper stack (window sticker, Car Shipper, and Corvette Order Copies) was computer pre-printed long before the VIN was assigned to the car at the beginning of the Trim Line. That's why the car's VIN didn't appear on the "Tank Sticker" (Corvette Order Copy) glued to the fuel tank until the early 70's when the paper system changed - it hadn't been assigned yet when the paper stack was printed.
