Hi, I was looking for some opinions for the Baldor Model: 332B (1800 rpm) OR 333B (3600 rpm). I'm looking at possibly buying one of these(or some other) buffer for restoring my '63. Would anyone know the pros or cons of the 1800rpm or the 3600rpm. They are both the same price. Seems like the faster the better....right?

Re: 3/4 hp BALDOR BUFFER 1800 OR 3600 rpm
The lower speed 1800 is meant for aluminum and soft metals .Where as the higher speed 3600 is meant for stainless and harder metals.
Baldor also sells a 2 speed unit, it seems that some distibutors only sell certain styles units so you really have to shop around thru different distributor till you find the unit you like- Top
