C2 Posi?

This may be a bit premature since I haven't looked at the numbers yet but I was looking at my 67 L79 diff and noticed a red posi tag. I was confused since I can rotate the right wheel when I jack up one side. Did someone just put a posi tag on the fill plug or is there maybe something wrong within.

Posi was an option - what are the number stampings on the bottom of the diff carrier (between the spring mount plate and the camber strut bracket)?
