C1 - Deck Lid Weatherstrip

Can anyone describe the appearance of the ends of the decklid/convertible top weatherstrip on a '59? Nowhere, either in the JM or the assembly manual does it tell me how to secure the ends. I'm talking about the weatherstrip that stops just to the rear of the hardtop recievers. Do they extend all the way past the screw that holds the SS arches above the seats? (with the screw going through the weatherstrip) Or do they just simply stop somewhere and are glued down with gorilla snot?

Brad,
They just wrap around the ends and glue down on top of the screws that hold the last clip on for the trim. Just snip the ends off to be even with the edge of the decklid after it turns the corner. It was another one of those detail items that looked like crap on these cars!

Thanks, John.....You know how you look at a hundred Corvettes at the various shows and when you get home and you're in the middle of your own restoration, you get a brain cramp!
