Jack and Battery Storage Compartment

Hi All,


On my 71 or Dad's 72, were the storage compartments (the fiberglass inside) originally painted, specifically did they receive blackout? Dad's 72 jack compartment looks like it may have, but that may have been done by a subsequent owner.


Any thoughts?

On my 69 the rear compartments are unpainted, natural fiberglass. I would expect that 68-72s were about the same in this regard.

My '69 and '71 are both unpainted/natural also.

Checked my 70 to be sure, the compartments are natural inside too. Roberto NCRS #30019, RMC
