1956 / 1957 Tail lights

I am sure this may have been asked before but here goes. I had a set of tail lights replated for my ' 57 and the plater could not get the chrome down far enough towards the lens so the end result was fair. Does anyone know of a plater who can plate these correctly ? Hopefully on the east coast. Thank you.

Bob,
Try Matins in Philadelphia PA. They are well versed in early Corvette plating and do a great job. Be prepared to wait a bit as they're always busy. Rich

Paul's chrome in evans city pa has done 3 pair for me and the chrome extends to the vertical face of the tail lite assembly.expensive but perfect. have judged many 56/7 vettes over the years and a good many show up on the judging field with lites as you describe. good luck, mike
