1967 BB car on ebay: here's your chance!

Check out this listing for a '67 BB car on ebay. It's currently over $210k! Nice car, but I wonder if his kids are running up the ebay bids?

Nice, lots of origianl markings, either someone is very good at fakes or this is a real car. If it is real it's a better deal than the restored cars that went through Barrett Jackson. IMHO

This car sure like the one "Bartlesville" Bill used to own. The story about it being a GM promotional car matches also. Saw it in about 1975 down in Oklahoma and is a real car. Fantastic car if you like unrestored cars as I do. Anyone know if this is that car?

See several threads below, as this car ws posted already.
            As I said below:

I believe that is a well known car owned by a gentleman in the Philadelphia area. There was an article on the car in Vette magazine many years ago, and I spoke with the then-owner quite a bit about the car. He has a few other VERY nice original cars too.

Well, apparently USED to be owned by him, or is now being brokered by this ebay'er. It seems an unusual way for it to be offered if the Phila owner still has the car as he is well known and I doubt would need a broker for this car. I suspect it has traded hands recently and is coming up for sale again.

Pat, I think that the car was not resold as it was offered to me. I passed on it although it is a great original car and the real deal. IMHO that the owner does not want to deal with the hassels of selling his car so he enlists a broker to sell it for him.

                Re: Bullsh@@! all original!

None of the dash component colors match. The assembly had to be redone! Maybe gauge cluster, vents panels, certainly pads and or dash assembly new or resprayed. I know because I'm a snot-nosed, self-righteous kid with a 67 Marina blue coupe with #450 interior. All my colors match and they have never been touched after factory. Look at the transitons of the blues from center console to dash, to dash pads. Kinda bad picture, but it's more original than that $215k liar.

                  Justin,

Yours is not the norm. Non-matching shades of blue in the interior IS the norm.

The car is real. I know the owner and I've seen the car a few times. The Real Deal.

                    Steve,

If it's still him, I guess I'm somewhat surprised at his choice of brokers.

In addition, the real story of the car is far better than what is in the eBay ad. The ALL CAPS really appears amateur, and there is a lot more that could be said about the car.
