Expansion Tank Help Needed (C-2)

Which is the correct hose clamp for the expansion tank to "T" on heater hose.
This is on a '64 327/300. I have clamps which are tightened by a screw and nut but the assembly manual shows a spring tension type clamp. If it is the screw type where can you get a couple without buying $35 worth clamps you don't need? Thanks for the information and your time.

If you need the side-screw-type clamps for the "T"-hose, Paragon sells them separately for $5.00 each (#6157).

The 1963/1964 NCRS Judging Manual says that either the Corbin clamps or the screw type clamps may be found on the short hose between the the expansion tank and the "T" fitting. My 1964 327/300 equipped car, VIN 9258 has the original screw type clamps on the short hose from the expansion tank to the "T" fitting. All other heater hose connections use the Corbin clamps.

You can purchase these clamps from Corvette Central in pairs for $2.95, p/n 242097 found on page 44 of their current catalog.

Yes, thanks James. My '64 has the screw type on it also. Mine is VIN 2738. I need to replace my short hose and the screw type clamps also. Looks like I won't have any problems locating them now. Thanks again to you and John for your time and advice.
