    Anaheim, California, 1965..........

I'm interested in purchasing a 1965 Corvette, and the original owner says he bought it in Anaheim, possibly from a dealer named "MacDonald Chevrolet", or something similar.

Would any one know of that dealer, what became of them, if they're still in business, etc.

    Thanks, Chris

      Chris

I don't think you'll find anything even if you find them. I have a 68 that was purchased from a dealer near me when new. They are still in business but have no records that go back that far. They are fun to talk to and they think it is cool to see the car, but they are no help, paperwork-wise. Would you keep files in your business for 40 years?

Anyway, good luck and I hope I'm wrong!

Call the Anaheim Public Library and

ask the librarian to dig out her Kohl's City Directory ( or equivalent) ar a 1965 Phone book and look them up.

Re: Call the Anaheim Public Library and

Excellent idea Loren, thanks. I called and the Library has a "Anaheim History Room" with the old city directories. Not open today but will call them Monday.
