C1 Gauge wire critical moment

I'm ready to hook wires to gauges on my 60. I want to do it right the first time. Looking at them from the firewall side, the red tag on the fuel gauge is on the left.
Fuel Brown is left
temp Blue is left
Amp Red or black on the left?
I know there was some confusion on the amp gauge and I can't see good enough to see any markings on the gauges and can't tell from the diagram or AIM

except for the amp. meter you have to switch them

You need to reduce in paint so that it would fit better

That's what I needed to know. I have already downloaded that diagram and printed it on a color printer. About 15 pages, but when taped together on a 3'x5' board it turns into something I can read. I didn't know if that diagram was right or wrong.

Larry, At least with the amp meter...

...if you hook it up "backwards", the worst it will do is read backwards.
