57 carb filter

can the carb. filter on single four be domed or flat, some catalogs offer both for the same yr. so would either be considered correct also what type of tubing goes from filter to carb. thanks allot

Domed and a short brass threaded tube about 1inc.long, Domed and flat had the same part # so some people think ether was used

A brass nipple threaded into the carb fuel inlet, and the fuel filter threaded onto the other end of the nipple. Another adapter threaded into the inlet side of the filter, and accepted the SAE flare fitting on the steel line from the fuel pump.
