Re: 68 tail light screws?
I think that several of the vendors would have them. If you are adventurous you can purchase a kit and use plain steel #10 phillips pan head machine screws by plating them. One source of the kit is Caswell Plating

Re: 68 tail light screws?
According to all our research, 1968-69s have chrome screws. The black oxide ones began with 1970. In fact, if you will look on page 42 of the present 1970-72 manual, the picture for 1970 tail lamps shows '69 with a note that the screws are wrong for a '70.- Top

Thanks, that makes thing a little easier. Some of mine were black and some were chrome. For some reason I thought they should be black. I think it will be easier to find the chrome one's.
If you would like a picture of my 68 project, let me know. Thanks, Terry- Top

Re: Addendum
You do good work Joe. I just finished the Mech I section using your notes. I bet I have 50 or so hours in it counting the almost finished copy in the other computer that crashed. Some dummies cannot remember to backupDick Whittington- Top
