Parts shows this left lower pad good for 71-77. Most venders list 74-76 with different a/c and non a/c pads.Does that mean 71-73 use the same pad? When did the a/c vent on the lower tach side of the pad first appear? Did 71-73 have a vent somewhere other than the center gauge? Is the 77 different, since the venders list 77 seperately from the rest?

Re: 71-77 dash pad # 339121

The GM #339121 dash pad was used in PRODUCTION and SERVICE for 1974-77 model Corvettes without A/C (and, with black interior for this, particular, part number). However, this panel is SERVICE-only for 1971-73 models. It replaced the original part numbers used in PRODUCTION and original SERVICE for those years.
I believe that 1974 was the first year for the A/C vent on the lower right side of the left side dash panel. That's also why the dash pads are different for 74-77 models with and without A/C.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
