    C2 Heater Hose Clamps

Replacing all the aircraft type clamps a previous owner installed. Purchased the clamp kit from CC and trying to figure out what goes where...looks like there are too many clamps! Looked at the AIM and it's unclear to me what happens at the overflow tank "T". Coming off the tank to the "T", I have what appears to be 2 original side-bolt clamps. What type of clamp is used at the other end of the T's on the heater hose? It's a '66 - 327-300hp with no AC.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks,
    Tim

You might want to look at the AIM for your car. It should have that information. Also you could try the Long Island Corvette web site. In their catalog they have some very good blow ups of different parts of the car. I believe they might have a picture of the hose clamps as they are installed.

I have the same motor with AC. The clamps coming off the overflow tank to the T are the side screw type. The other clamps on the T are 3/4 " corbin (spring) type. The only difference in air car kits is the addition of 2 more 5/8" corbin clamps for the water shut valve.

The AIM does show screw types for all 4 connections at the tee (11-13 A4 and A5). But the C60 D3 section shows corbin and says "regular production tee and clamps". Go figure.

CC may have shipped the AC version so you may have 2 5/8" corbins left over.

Thanks for the info Randy. What you described is what I was assuming was right.
