    drive shaft question

    i am preparing to install the original drive shaft back into the 73 coupe that i am restoring....my question is this: does anyone know the correct position for the drive shaft, the balance weight that is attached to the drive shaft is at one end. does this end go back by differential or up by transmission? the drive line was not in this car when i got it, so i never got a chance to see it installled. does it even matter that much?? anyone? thanks, rick
