    C2 ARMRESTS

Have a 66 coupe and the trailing edge of the armrests have small cracks/separations around the chrome trim. The panels themselves are in great shape. Here's where I'm confused. Looking in the catalogs for possible solutions, it seems that some offer separate armrests while some appear to be one piece where the armrest is built into the panel. In my car it seems to be all one piece. Just wondered if there were two different styles.

    TIA

    Tim,

All 65-67 C2's have the built in armrests. 63-64 do not.

      Thanks,

E-bay has a black set that says for 65-66, but must be for 63-64.

63-64 arm rests were common to Corvair. You might find Corvair prices about 30% below Corvette prices.

          Tim....

If the panels are in as good a shape as you say, there's a guy in Cincinnati that does excellent repair of the arm rests. His business name is Eastern Corvette and his name is Steve. I have his phone number but I don't post that info on the net. If you're interested, send me an email and I'll send you his number. I had my drivers side panel repaired from my 66 roadster and he did an outstanding job.
