C-2 NCRS judging

Hi Folks,

I'm going to look at a low horse 427 to put in my '66. I have an April '66 build date car. I can't remember... Is it a 3 month leeway that the NCRS gives for engine casting date compared to car build date when judging?

They allow up to 6. Some low volume parts have history of being produced at the same time others were made daily. I think in 67 there are only two dates for SB manifolds. I bought a Nov date stamp correct for my car, to find out they were running short and made the year supply in Nov.

I would be looking for a Feb. Or March. engine assembly date. Try Engines Unlimited if the other block you're looking for is to far out. See Driveline
