If looking for judging, I believe the only way to go is the Goodyear marketed by Kelsey tire.Bill Clupper #618- Top

Re: '65 Goldlines
Bill, I was looking for tires for my 62 for judging and was told to go with Kelsey rather than Coker due to quality control problems. Any truth to those rumers or haven't you heard anything of that nature? Thanks in advance! Jon- Top

Re: '65 Goldlines
Don't know about QC issues, but for Judging, the effort Kelsey put into the documentation of the mid-year tires and the varieties he has to accomidate the subtle variations, such as the tread width and aspect ratio (profile) of the Goldlines was impressive. The judging manuals were changed to provide judges more options in accuracy of judging reproduction tires, imho because the kelsey obsoletes the others in the accuracy of the reproduction. Again I'm talking 65-67 tires here...I have been told his C-3 tires are equally good.Bill Clupper #618- Top
