    I recently installed a small block 350 in my 1960. The number on the block was 3970010. Can anyone tell me what it came out of? Where it was made? When it was made?

      350 block uesd in a variety of applications from 1970-mid 80's. What is the data frim the engine ID pad on the front of the block. The original configuration was coded in the stamped numbers on the flat pad in front of the head on the passengers side.
