    If you buy a restored unit from one of the rebuilders,(DeGregory, Podell, etc.) it will cost around $6K +/-,for adapter plate, unit, and distributor. A good repo air cleaner will cost another $800-1000 depending on the source. A swap meet core will probably cost around $2500-3000, and may have mismatched or missing parts. If you are not pretty familiar with FI units, these problems amy not necessarily be apparent when looking at a used unit to buy. The running unit on the car is worth something between these two figures, but there are the two ends of the spectrum.
