I don't think this is a corvette engine

A friend has asked me if this engine is for a Corvette. I apears to be a 350 block with T0513HV on the pad no VIN number. I suspect it was a replacement engine but am not sure. Can anyone help identify this engine. I do not have the block casting date or part number.

350 with a T code would be a Tonawanda engine, not a Flint piece as all Corvette smallblocks were

HV would indicate either a 1965 350hp 327 or a 1969 255hp 350 you would need the casting date off the block to see which it is. GL

Not if it's a Tonawanda engine. Like Bill said, all Corvette small block engines were assembled at Flint, so the first character is "F" through '66 and then changed to "V" beginning in '67.

Tonawanda assembled SBs, but they never were OE installed in Corvettes, so their HV engine code must be another configuration, but I don't know what it is.
