C1 wiper blade adjustment

Is there a way to adjust the wiper arm so the blade sits at the right angle on the windshield? There is a little button with a circlular washer looking thing between the arm and the attaching bracket, but it won't move. Anco Deadlocker

Larry, I am unaware of any adjustment on the correct wiper blades for a 56 - 62 short of indexing on the serrated stalk. When I wanted them to lay "flat" in the park position, I would put the tip of the wiper arm in a vice and slightly tweak it to make the correct angle to the bottom of the windshield. They really don't want to bend this way, but will, and the amount of bend is quite small. Good Luck, Dennis

If the arm spring tension is weak it may need replacememt

I found that you can turn them with enough pressure. The end is tight enough so that it will move with enough force and then stay in position.
