    C-1 56 Paint color

    The time has come to repaint my 1956 convertible and this time have the correct color on the car. Earlier this week there was a posting asking for 1956 color formula. Aztec Copper was listed but no formula was entered. Where does one find the correct formula ? I have paint chips from 1956 that shows Chevrolet car colors close to the Corvette colors for 1956. The Chevrolet colors are listed Sierra Gold Poly DAL-21261-DQE and Adobe Beige DAL-21262-DQE. Could these colors be Aztec Copper and Beige in the Corvette? Thanks for any help, Jeff

      Jeff, Dupont Code for Aztec Copper is 59297. Shoreline beige is Dupont 57602 and PPG is 21054. You can check out this information at www.corvettepaintcodes.com
