Help! After our frame off restoration of my 54 Corvette, we pulled the engine 3 additional times to try to fix the main seal oil leak and it still leaks. Nothing has worked. My mechanic has given up. Is this normal or should I live with it? Is there a secret to plugging the leaks?

If your talking the rear rope seal it is a bit tricky I can talk to you about it if you like to call? Is the engine been rebuilt? if not the rear main bearing my be worn allowing the crank to settle on the seal. Easier to explain over the phone then a letter. E-mail me for number ROY
