C2 History

How can I trace my cars history,previous owners, mileage, etc.?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Augie,

Truth be known, there isn't a shurfire way to get this done. As a new member of the NCRS, you can post a free "information wanted" add in the Driveline that will get exposure to all members.

Some others may have tips, but I've not attempted this myself yet so I can't help much.

A couple of ideas. If you own a 67, you could drop the gas tank and see if the build sheet is still attached and legible. That would tell you all the options that your car came with from the factory plus other things was well. If you own a 63-66, it's much harder. As mentioned you can post in the Driveline and see if anyone recognizes the car. You also could try a title search of prior owners through the DMV. Finally, you also could contact the person from whom you bought the car and ask them to try to remember who they bought the car from and then give that person a call and so on. Good luck.
