    Re: C2 Ignition key question

    Pete:

I had new keys cut about a year ago. The keys were cut using the key codes from the cylinders which matched the paperwork that came with the car. And the style of the keys was exactly like the originals. But, even though they worked well, they just would not hold if any pull was placed on them in the ACC and ON positions. So I sent the keys, cylinder, and a spare ignition switch back to Jesser's today. They say that it might be a problem with the keys, the cylinder or both. We shall see.

    Thanks for your input.

    Dwight
