        Hi there
My enquiry is specific to a C3. I have just purchased a '69 350/350 T-Top in LeMans Blue with bright blue trim. This car is reputed to have belonged to John DeLorean when he was GM of Chevrolet. It has had documentation and photos (allegedly) but these seem to have either been misplaced or lost during its many changes of hands. I have a reproduction window sticker (possibly)... am still awaiting receipt of these documents that are being sent to me, but the information I have been given from this document is that the VIN Number is 194379S718367...the Ident Number from the Order is 314143. There is another number just above the Final Assembly Point section and that is AYK187. The vehicle was delivered to Chevrolet 1800 Avenue of the Stars, Los Angeles.
On the sheet below the list of Options and Accessories is the phrase " PUBLIC RELATIONS"
Can anyone help me with info on this car or suggest where I may be able to obtain this information.
Do Chevrolet still have offices on Avenue of the Stars? Is John DeLorean still living? Any one know how I could get in contact with him?
Grateful for any help you can give me.
        Thanks and regards.

If memory serves, John is still doing hard time in the Federal pen after his famous 'cocaine' bust during the Regan era trying to generate hard cash to keep is failing DeLorean Motors corporation alive....

No Chevy dealer on Ave of the Stars ever that I know of, I drive down that street twice a week. There are movie studios and hotels, used to be the ABC entertainment center but they just raised it. Could have been a movie promo car or John was living at the Century Plaza.
