    C1: Gauge hookup

    Hi all,

Just a little more help needed to be sure everything works out fine:

How are the gauges for the fuel and temperature hooked up (in a 59-er) ? Pink left (driver side) or right (passenger side) ?

    thanks for your help,
    Rob.

If memory serves, both pink (power)wires go on the outboard side. The wiring diagram shows the proper installation. The only thing wrong on the ST12 diagram is the reversal of the ammeter connections. One of your terminals on the fuel gauge should have a warning tag cautioning you not to hook power to the sender terminal.
