C3 spring spacers

my 69 has 6 arched springs and 3 flat ones. does each spring have one of the rubber spacers between it or do you skip the one inbetween the last arched one and the first flat one? unless the arched springs get compressed almost flat it seems the rubber spacer would flap in the wind. also do you reccomend putting antisieze on the spring ends where they would rub on the spacer?

No liner was used betwen leaves 6 and 7. So, a total of 7 liners. The liners do indeed wear thru where the end of each leaf rubs the liner beneath it. The liners are graphite impregnated, so they already are low friction. I've never head of anyone using antisieze. What I would worry about is using any compound that might interact chemically with liner base material. I would simply suggest replacing the liners every 10 or 15 years when you replace the other rear spring rubber bushings that eventually wear out.
