BW trans dating/usage?

I have an extra tail that has these markings:
pn 3813490 T10-7D cast in 4 12 63 R-2 Bowtie
Per Colvin I believe this would have been used in vette or Chevy for a late built 1963 MY except the Muncie started hitting the passenger cars earlier than this so it is a vette only? And probably vettes built before June?

Do I have this right?

I rember discussing the change over to Muncie about 2 years ago. I believe the change over occured late April around vin number 15000.

Since the date on the tail is 4/13/63 it has only about a one week usage!!! It would never have been used on passenger vechicles either. One rare piece:)
