the little arm thingie or bracket that the hood release cable is fastened to...should it be cad plated or semi-flat black? In the Paragon catalogue and web site they show it as black. I have just cleaned up mine and they are cad. Mine may have been plated some time in the last 40 years or so. What were they when they left the factory? Thanks again. Pat G.
