    steering wheel removal

I have been trying to remove the steering wheel on my '60. The manual states to "force" off the horn button. Is it simply a matter of pulling on it till it comes off or is there a clip ring or something that must be slid off? I cannot see anything holding it on.

    Thanks,
    Scott

Just pull on the back side of the horn button, and it will pop off. You can't hurt anything, unless there's something very non-stock under there.

Remember the direction the horn button retainer assy came off while the front tires are straight or when you go to put the horn button back on , it may not be right . The horn button snaps in the retainer only one way.
