    57 9-fin FI cut-down top fin details

Who can tell me what the radius (and/or depth and length) of the portion of the top fin that was removed on FI cars.
My 57 has replacement valve covers, and I'm on the pursuit, as always, to make it more correct.
And how about location--directly centered from end to end? I suppose ultimately I can put it on the car and figure out exactly where the piezo ring comes.
    Thanks for the help!

Noland Adams can tell ya, Rev....

Look on page 182 of his Volume 1 and the three close-up pictures are literally good enough to be a cut/grind template since they're silhouetted by the CORVETTE script letters (from start of 'R' to just after the first 'E')!

I'm almost too embarassed to tell you guys this. When I found the pair of 9 fins for my 56, one cover had a nice half-moon piece missing from one fin. I paid a welder to fill it in perfectly and then had Jerry McNiesh reskin them. They are a perfect set of 56 covers - but I destroyed an original 57 FI valve cover. DUUH
